Truck and Semi Truck Detailing in Renton, WA

Truck and Semi Truck Detailing in RentonTrucks work harder than cars, and they look it. Bed rails scuffed by tools, cab floors packed with mud, paint sandblasted by highway miles. A good truck detailing job brings back the finish and makes the cab something you actually want to sit in again.

Signature Auto Detail details pickups, full-size SUVs and heavy trucks in Renton, including semi trucks. Here’s how we handle each, and how pricing works.

Pickups and Large SUVs

Truck Detailing Renton

Most trucks and big SUVs fall into our large vehicle pricing. Our shop menu counts full-size SUVs and large trucks as large, and 4-door vehicles as medium. A hand car wash is $75 for a large vehicle, an Express Detail is $260, and an Exterior Detail is $375, with the full list on our pricing page.

What a pickup typically needs

  • Cab interior: mud, dust and spills ground into carpet and floor mats, which we shampoo and extract
  • Seats: cloth shampooed, leather cleaned and conditioned
  • Exterior: hand wash, clay bar to pull off road film and bonded grit, and polishing where the paint calls for it
  • Protection: wax, coating or film to shed grime and shrug off gravel

A truck’s paint takes stone strikes on the hood, bumper and lower doors. Paint protection film absorbs those hits better than anything else, and a ceramic coating keeps the rest of the finish easy to wash. Read what ceramic coating costs for pricing factors.

Want the cab and the paint done right?

Describe the truck and what you use it for, and we’ll recommend a plan.

Semi Trucks and Heavy Vehicles

Semi trucks are a different scale of job. A tractor unit has a large cab, long hood or big flat front, and a lot of exposed surface. Drivers who live in the cab care about the interior as much as the exterior, and owner-operators know that a clean truck makes a better impression with customers and brokers.

Because tractor units vary so much, semi truck detailing is quoted individually based on the size of the vehicle and the scope of the work. Some jobs are best done where the truck is parked, and our mobile detailing service, which uses self-contained water and power, may be an option depending on location and schedule. Call before bringing a heavy vehicle to the shop so we can plan for space and timing.

What heavy-truck detailing usually includes

  • Exterior wash of cab and visible surfaces
  • Cab interior cleaning: floors, seats, dash, panels and windows
  • Removal of heavy road film and bug and tar buildup
  • Protection to make the next wash faster
  • Odor treatment where needed, quoted per vehicle

Work Trucks and Fleets

If you run several trucks, regular detailing is cheaper and easier than occasional recovery jobs. We offer recurring programs, described on our page about fleet and rideshare detailing and our fleet programs. A consistent schedule keeps every vehicle presentable.

Why the Pacific Northwest Is Hard on Trucks

Wet roads, gravel shoulders and logging and construction traffic all feed grime and chips. Winter road treatments and constant moisture add to it. A protected finish is far easier to clean and slower to degrade. Our guide to protecting car paint in the Pacific Northwest explains the conditions.
